"No existe la felicidad absoluta, nos medimos por contrastes. Si nunca has sido feliz pero de repente un día aparece una persona, y te quiere y te cuida, tu nivel de felicidad sube un montonazo. Sin embargo, si has tenido a gente así toda tu vida y llega una más, tu nivel de felicidad apenas cambia. Por ejemplo, en muchísimas canciones antes del estribillo fuerte hay un puente tranquilo o con poca energía, para que el estribillo te explote en la cara por el contraste.
